Data Deletion

PrayerShield does not require an account, and your personal content never leaves your device. Deleting your data is a two-part process, and most of it happens the moment you uninstall.

1. On-device data

Your journal entries, prayers, prayer plan, streaks, shielded app selections, and settings are stored only on your device. To delete them, uninstall the app:

iOS: touch and hold the PrayerShield icon, tap Remove App, then Delete App
Android: touch and hold the PrayerShield icon, tap App info, then Uninstall

Uninstalling permanently removes all of this data. We hold no copy and cannot recover it.

2. Server-side records

Two categories of pseudonymous data exist off-device, and you can request their deletion:

Usage analytics (Mixpanel): screen views and feature usage tied to a random identifier
Subscription records (RevenueCat): purchase receipts and subscription status tied to a pseudonymous app identifier

To request deletion, email hubert@huviantech.com with the subject "Delete my PrayerShield data".

We will erase the associated analytics and subscription records within 30 days and confirm by reply.

What we cannot delete

Your purchase history with Apple or Google is held by those stores under their own policies; we have no access to it. Active subscriptions should be canceled in your App Store or Google Play account settings, otherwise billing continues even after the app is uninstalled.
